It's a wrap! |
NTIF is now
officially over for another year. The musicians are back
home or on their way to the next gig; the decorations are
back in their box, the tents and stages are down and the
final payments are being mailed to vendors and contractors.
Yes, it was a record attendance. The final count is not yet
in, but initial estimates are between 37,000 and 39,000
people over the three days. All reports are that this was
not just the biggest NTIF, but one of the best in recent
years.

Future Dates
Keep these dates in mind for future North Texas Irish
Festivals. Remember, always the first (full) weekend in
March.
3rd - 5th March, 2006
2nd - 4th March, 2007 (our 25th
anniversary)
1st - 3rd March, 2008

Volunteer PicnicEach year the SCMA Board of Directors
hosts a picnic in recognition of the outstanding work that the
volunteers do each year. This years picnic will be held on April
17th at 12:00 noon at Winfrey Point on the shores of White Rock Lake.
Enter on East Lawther by the spillway or Emerald Isle by
Barbecs off Garland Road.
Bring your sunscreen, favorite Irish CDs and your stories
of the Festival. The rest is on us.
