I hereby submit my on-line application to be considered as a volunteer at the North Texas Irish Festival (the "Festival"). By affirming the check box on the on-line form and submitting an on-line application, I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions in their entirety.

I hereby intend to be legally bound for myself, my heirs and assigns, executors or administrators, and forever waive and release all claims for any damages whatsoever against the Southwest Celtic Music Association (the "SCMA"), Inc., its Board of Trustees, Officers, agents, employees, contractors and volunteers, the Dallas Directory, Inc., the employees, representatives, contractors, concessionaires and Board of Fair Park, the City of Dallas, and all sponsoring businesses and organizations whatsoever, in part and in entirety, for any and all injuries, illnesses, deaths and/or losses sustained by my equipment, my animals or myself whether caused by the negligence on the part of the Festival or the SCMA and for all claims arising directly or indirectly out of my participation in the Festival.

I understand that participatory events may be dangerous and may lead to injury, or damage to my equipment, my animals, others or myself. I accept full responsibility for any and all consequences, damages, injuries, deaths or any liability whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from my participation in the Festival.

The term North Texas Irish Festival Volunteer ("Volunteer") shall include, but not be limited to, any activity undertaken within the Festival perimeter at Fair Park, any walkways and roads within Fair Park, the adjacent parking facilities, the Sheraton Brookhollow Hotel, any courtesy vehicle providing transportation between the above locations and any vehicle owned, leased by or loaned to the Festival for the purpose of conducting the business of the Festival. Furthermore the term Volunteer shall include participation in any and all activities leading up to or following the public opening times of the Festival that constitute a part of the preparations for, or clearing up following the event. I recognize that I will be considered a Volunteer at all times during the festival, not just during my specific shift.

As a volunteer I give my full permission for the use of my name, photographic or videotaped likeness to be used in any manner authorized by the Southwest Celtic Music Association.

I expressly agree that this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas and if portion of the agreement is held to be invalid, the balance shall, not withstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
